The atmoky trueSpatial WebSDK is a JavaScript package for binaural and spatial audio rendering in web applications. It provides a spatializer for multiple sound sources with distance attenuation and an externalization module, rooms with adjustable reverb and spatialized ambience, and playback of spatial audio formats, used for browser-based virtual spaces, WebAR projects, and interactive spatial audio experiences.

History & Background

Developed by atmoky GmbH, a company registered in Graz in 2020 whose founders previously developed the IEM Plug-in Suite at IEM, University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. The WebSDK was released in 2022 together with the browser tech demo atmoky dome. Distributed via a private npm registry with access tokens issued by atmoky; a sample integration for 8th Wall WebAR projects is available.
