Worlds
Build walkable 3D sound worlds in your browser, no code required. Place sounds in space, then step inside and listen.

What Worlds is for
Document
Preserve walk-through installations.
Rebuild an existing installation virtually — with free position and duration intact. Not a recording of one state, but the work itself, walkable online long after the physical exhibition closes.
Compose
Build what physical space can't hold.
Vast rooms, dozens of simultaneous sources, impossible architectures. Worlds is a compositional space in its own right — a venue that exists only online, taking the medium seriously as a stage.
Prepare
Plan installations before they exist.
Recreate the actual courtyard, gallery, or hall where a work will stand — and experience on screen how a composition feels on site, before a single loudspeaker is placed.
Four elements
Every world is built from space, sources, zones and world objects.
Frame
Space
The global acoustic frame of a world: reverberation, room character, externalization. Tight and dry, or wide and resonant.
Point
Sources
Point-like sound sources with physically plausible distance and directivity — radiating a full 360° or in a focused cone, like a loudspeaker.
Area
Zones
Area-based sound beds that fill a region with ambience. Enter, and the sound fades in; leave, and it fades out. Zones can overlap with clear priorities.
Trigger
World Objects
Interactive triggers, visible or invisible: approach one and a sound starts, a text appears, a change unfolds. The tool for narrative moments.
The editor
Built in the browser. Nothing to install.
Step inside your own composition — at any moment.

A mixing desk for space instead of a timeline.

Motion and Particles
New in Worlds: two ways to set a source in motion and to scatter its sound.
Motion
Moves a source through space as a single point.
Orbit · Pendulum · Drift · Drawn path · Shy or curious · Follow · Driven by its own sound · Groups
Particles
Breaks a source into short grains that hang in space as a cloud, like dust in light.
Drifting cloud · Glowing grains · Turns to dust as you approach · Density follows loudness · Darker tone
Combined, the cloud travels with the moving source.
How do you capture a walk‑through sound installation? You don't record it — you rebuild it.
Visitors move freely — their path is the work.
