Pravina is an ethnomusicologist, musician and educator at Universiti Sains Malaysia. Trained in piano, gamelan and harmonium, her research interests range from popular music and cultural identity to community arts, postgraduate learning, and the representation of musical traditions in digital and AI-assisted spaces.
