Incline

NeverEngineLabs

Incline (Toposonic Corpus Explorer) is a standalone granular instrument that uses machine-listening analysis to segment fixed audio into a navigable two-dimensional sonic map. It provides three playback modes (One Shot for segment audition, One Loop for continuous micro-loop traversal, and Cloud for distributed granular textures) plus a Contour Sequencer for automated traversal, used by composers and sound designers for granular resynthesis and corpus-based sound design.

History & Background

Developed by Cristián Vogel and released in early 2026. Built on a Rust port of the FluCoMa (Fluid Corpus Manipulation) core, whose machine-listening descriptors drive the segmentation and corpus mapping. Initially macOS-only, with Windows support announced for a forthcoming release (v1.0.20).
